Welcome
Launched in 2005, Work on the Horizon is the dedicated ‘one stop’ training and employment initiative serving the local residents and businesses of the Walsall New Deal for Communities area covering Bloxwich East, Blakenall and Leamore.
We’re a small, friendly and professional team based at our purpose built ‘shop’ on Bloxwich High Street where local people and companies can benefit from a wide range of free help, advice and support in relation to training, employment and recruitment. We also deliver outreach services across the area and participate in many local events to engage with the community.

Care Open Day at Walsall College

Walsall College at St Pauls Campus, are having an Care Open Day, on Friday 25th July 2008 at 10am - 4pm.
Walsall College are working in partnership with local care homes and Jobcentre Plus to assist individuals with entry or re-entry into employment in the care sector.
Organisations will be there offering care sector vacancies aswell as advice, guidance and information on working in the care industry and how to obtain the required qualifications.

Bloxwich Carnival 2008

Work on the Horizon advisors will be on hand at the Bloxwich Carnival, being held on Saturday 2nd August 2008. Come and visit us at King George V playing fields from 1.30 pm. Hope to see you there.
